From the parlor, we enter the Library. The walls of the Library are lined with portraits of Dawes’ ancestors. It is also filled with furniture, much of which was family heirlooms. The library also features several Tiffany lamps. The Library was reportedly the Dawes’ favorite room, and served as the center of family life for both the Sheppard and the Dawes families.
